Ingredients

  • 3 cups boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 30 oz frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: breadcrumbs or additional cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Season the diced chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the frozen hashbrowns with cream of chicken soup and milk until well combined.
  4. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and onion powder.
  5. Gently incorporate the seasoned chicken into the mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
