  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (oregano and basil)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In one bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat eggs.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the egg wash, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place breaded chicken on the baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add heavy cream and dried herbs; simmer until thickened.
