  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs (or gluten-free)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  2. Mix in breadcrumbs, parsley, cumin, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties about 3 inches wide.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove from skillet and let rest on paper towels before serving warm with your favorite dip or salad.
