Description

Slow-Cooker Beef Stroganoff is a cozy, creamy dish featuring tender beef and mushrooms, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients by chopping onions and garlic and slicing mushrooms.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef on all sides for added flavor.
  3. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker. Add onions, garlic, mushrooms, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
