Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; sauté for about 6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously until warmed through but not boiling.
  3. Gradually stir in grated Parmesan cheese and dried herbs until melted and fully combined.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the sauce, cooking for about 3 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. Return sliced chicken to the skillet, mixing thoroughly until coated in the sauce. Heat through for an additional couple of minutes before serving hot.
