  • 1 cup fresh orange juice (about 23 oranges)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, place chicken breasts and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, ginger, and sesame oil until smooth.
  4. Stir cornstarch slurry into the glaze mixture.
  5. Pour half the glaze over the chicken and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through, basting with remaining glaze halfway through.
  6. Once done, let it rest for a few minutes before garnishing with green onions. Serve warm.
