Black Pepper Beef Stir-Fry is a quick and flavorful dish that combines tender beef with vibrant bell peppers and snap peas, all enveloped in a savory black pepper sauce. This delightful meal is perfect for busy weeknights or when entertaining guests, taking less than 30 minutes to prepare. Customize it with your favorite vegetables or proteins, and serve it over rice or noodles for a satisfying dinner the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil (for stir-frying)

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Add beef strips and let marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Sear the beef: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat with cooking oil. Add marinated beef (in batches if necessary) and cook until browned on all sides (about 3 minutes). Remove from the pan.
  3. 3. Stir-fry vegetables: In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and toss in bell peppers and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. 4. Combine: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with vegetables. Add sesame oil and any remaining marinade; stir well until heated through (about 1 minute).
  5. 5. Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with additional black pepper if desired.
