  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 grated pear or apple (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and grated pear or apple until well mixed.
  2. Add the sliced beef and coat thoroughly. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook marinated beef in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until caramelized.
  5. Stir in chopped green onions during the last minute of cooking.
