  • 2 medium Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples, finely chopped
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 lollipop sticks
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped nuts and colorful sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions and pour into the pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
  3. Crumble cooled cake into a bowl. Mix in half the caramel sauce until it holds together but isn’t sticky.
  4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Insert lollipop sticks into each ball and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
