- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

- Add ground beef; cook until browned and no longer pink, around 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
- Meanwhile, boil salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain but reserve some pasta water.
- Combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce in the skillet; stir until evenly coated. If too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
- Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top; cover briefly until melted and bubbly, around 3-5 minutes.
