Description

Cinnamon Raisin Greek Yogurt Bagels are a delightful breakfast treat that combines the warm flavors of cinnamon and sweet raisins with the creamy tang of Greek yogurt. These chewy, golden bagels are easy to make and perfect for any occasion, whether enjoyed fresh out of the oven or toasted later. With minimal effort, you can create a batch that brings comfort and joy to your mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup plump raisins
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, flour, baking powder, salt, honey, cinnamon, and raisins until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for about 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 6-8 equal portions; roll each into a ball and poke a hole in the center to shape into bagels.
  4. Boil water in a large pot; add a pinch of salt. Boil bagels for about 1 minute on each side.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place boiled bagels on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let them cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serve warm.
