  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (light)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar with additional cinnamon for filling.
  6. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, add a spoonful of cinnamon mixture, then top with more batter until full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
