Description

  • 1 package wonton wrappers (about 24)
  • 8 oz crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Oil for frying (enough for deep frying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, soy sauce, and garlic powder until well mixed.
  2. Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of filling into the center of each wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold diagonally to seal tightly.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Fry each bomb in batches for about 3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
  5. Remove from oil using a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
