Description

  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/2 cup colorful sprinkles or mix-ins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter until bubbly. Let it cool slightly, then mix in the brown and granulated sugars.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet mixture until just mixed.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles gently.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top but soft inside.
