- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Season the steak with salt and pepper; let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- 2. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- 3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; sear the steak for about 2 minutes per side, then transfer to a plate.
- 4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
- 5. Return the steak to the skillet with drained pasta; toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
