  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
  • 1 cup sweet onions, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients by slicing ribeye steak, bell peppers, and onions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the ribeye strips for 3-4 minutes until browned but tender. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add bell peppers and onions; sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  4. Return seared steak to the skillet with vegetables; combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Lay provolone cheese over the mixture and cover until melted.
  6. Fill hoagie rolls generously with the cheesesteak mixture and serve immediately.
