  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked Italian sausage (crumbled)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Cook the penne pasta in salted water until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft. Stir in crumbled sausage until browned.
  4. Add pizza sauce to the skillet, mixing well before folding in the cooked pasta.
