Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • 1 cup Dr Pepper soda
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork ribs dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Pour half a cup of Dr Pepper into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. Place the seasoned ribs upright in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour the remaining Dr Pepper over the ribs.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours until tender.
  6. Preheat the oven broiler. Transfer cooked ribs to a lined baking sheet and brush with BBQ sauce on both sides.
  7. Broil for about 5 minutes until bubbly and slightly charred.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
