  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean ground beef (or turkey)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey) for about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with beaten eggs and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased baking dish, layer with the meat sauce, then top with remaining spaghetti mixture.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
