Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Peel and thinly slice the sweet onions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat until bubbling.
  3. Add sliced onions to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the butter mixture.
  4. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until onions are soft and translucent; add a pinch of salt.
  5. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Splash in the balsamic vinegar and cook for an additional 2 minutes until slightly reduced.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm.
