- 3 cups apples (peeled and chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms.
- Chill the dough in plastic wrap for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch.
- Roll out dough to 1/8-inch thickness; cut into circles.
- Place filling on half of each circle, fold over and seal edges with fingers or fork.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
