  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi cheese into thick strips (about half an inch).
  2. Pat the cheese dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour and paprika. Dredge each strip in the mixture until lightly coated.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry the halloumi strips for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil and serve immediately.
