  • 1 box (18.3 oz) chocolate brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: nuts, sprinkles, or fruit

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven as per package instructions. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix brownie mix, melted butter, and eggs until combined. Pour into the prepared dish and bake until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs (about 20-25 minutes). Allow to cool completely.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form (3-5 minutes).
  4. Cut cooled brownies into squares. Layer brownie squares and whipped cream in a serving dish until all ingredients are used.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
