- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1 lb)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley or basil, chopped
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente (about 9 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Toss cooked linguine with the sauce and add chopped herbs before serving.
