  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Sear the Steak: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Season steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to preference. Remove and let rest.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Create the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously until combined. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add Cheese & Pasta: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then toss in pasta with reserved water until well-coated.
  6. Finish with Freshness: Slice rested steak against the grain and place on top of pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley.
