  • 12 oz mostaccioli pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook mostaccioli in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, and half the mozzarella until creamy.
  3. Fold cooked pasta into the sauce mixture until fully coated.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer half of the pasta mixture in a greased baking dish and sprinkle with half of the remaining mozzarella.
  5. Add rest of pasta mixture, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
