Description

  • 1 box vanilla or blueberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 23 drops blue food coloring
  • 1 cup blue candy melts
  • Colorful sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix cake mix, eggs, oil, and water as per package instructions. Add blue food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
  2. Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl.
  4. Gradually mix in frosting until dough-like consistency is reached.
  5. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the blue candy melts according to package instructions and dip each ball in the melted coating. Place on parchment paper and decorate with sprinkles before the coating sets.
