- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Warm milk and combine with sugar and yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- In a bowl, whisk flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix until combined.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl for about an hour until doubled.
- Prepare filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out dough, spread butter, sprinkle filling, and add blueberries.
- Roll tightly into a log, slice into 12 pieces, and arrange in a greased baking dish to rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
