  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg + 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold fresh blueberries into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Cut puff pastry into squares (about 4 inches). Place a spoonful of the filling in each square’s center. Fold corners toward the center and pinch to seal.
  6. Mix egg and water in a small bowl; brush over each pastry.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
