- 1 lb cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Wash and halve cherry tomatoes, chop garlic, and tear basil leaves.
- Cook the pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions.
- Sauté garlic & tomatoes: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add halved tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Add seasonings & basil: Stir in salt and pepper; fold in torn basil leaves.
- Combine with pasta: Drain cooked pasta (reserve some water) and add it to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
- Finish & serve: Turn off heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
