  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated, followed by vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together glutinous rice flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until no lumps remain.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips for added gooeyness.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs attached.
