  • ½ cup cream cheese frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies (e.g., Oreos)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round 9-inch cake pans with butter and dust lightly with flour.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually combine this mixture with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and smooth the tops with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
