- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Stir in dried cranberries, white chocolate chips, and orange zest until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes or until lightly golden; a toothpick should come out clean.
- While cooling, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Once cooled completely, spread the frosting over the bars and slice into squares.
