  • 4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté diced onions and minced garlic until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
  3. Pour in cream of mushroom soup and mix well, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  4. Return seared pork chops to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
