- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, chopped spinach, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Stuff each shell with about two tablespoons of the filling and place them seam-side up in a greased baking dish.
- Cover the shells with marinara sauce and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
- Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
