  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, chopped spinach, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Stuff each shell with about two tablespoons of the filling and place them seam-side up in a greased baking dish.
  4. Cover the shells with marinara sauce and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
  5. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
