  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 6 oz thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread chopped bacon on the baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes until crispy, stirring halfway.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss halved Brussels sprouts in the bacon grease on the baking sheet, then pour the maple mixture over them.
  5. Roast for another 20-25 minutes until sprouts are golden brown and tender.
