  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger root, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Slice flank steak thinly against the grain.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth; add beef and marinate.
  3. In another bowl, whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for the sauce.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sauté marinated beef until browned but not fully cooked.
  5. Add green onions and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Pour sauce over beef mixture; cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens.
