- 12 manicotti pasta shells
- 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (plus more for layering)
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
