  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (toasted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a pie dish with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in half of the chopped pecans into the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and evenly distribute.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle remaining pecans on top.
  7. Let cool before slicing and serving.
