  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix flour and sugar; cut in the cold butter until crumbly. Press the mixture into a tart pan evenly.
  2. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
  3. Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  4. Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until just simmering. Pour over melted chocolate and whisk until combined.
  5. Stir in half of the sea salt into the chocolate filling.
  6. Pour filling into the baked crust and sprinkle with remaining sea salt. Refrigerate for at least two hours until set.
