  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 oz high-quality smoked salmon, cut into strips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until golden brown (about 1 minute).
  3. Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in lemon juice, capers, dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in the smoked salmon until warmed through (about 2-3 minutes).
  5. Toss cooked pasta with the creamy mixture; add reserved pasta water gradually for desired consistency.
