  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for drizzle)
  • Milk (for drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter until fluffy; add eggs one at a time until well combined.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in pear slices carefully.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. For the drizzle, whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over cooled cake.
