  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (sautéed)
  • 1 cup canned artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté fresh spinach until wilted. Add chopped artichokes and heat through for about 3 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan, sautéed spinach, artichokes, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick.
  5. Cut the pastry into a tree shape and place it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Spoon the filling onto one side of the tree shape without overflowing.
  7. Use remaining pastry to cut strips for branches; fold over slightly before brushing with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
