  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until soft—about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, sautéed onions and garlic, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf on the baking sheet and smooth out the top. Spread additional ketchup on top.
  5. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
