- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic powder, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, sesame oil, and chili flakes. Mix until well combined but don’t overmix.
- Shape mixture into small meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and slightly caramelized.
- While baking, whisk together ketchup, soy sauce, sriracha, and honey for the sauce.
- Toss baked meatballs in the sauce until fully coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and extra green onions if desired.
