Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover tightly and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the Eggs: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for at least 5 minutes to stop cooking.
  3. Peel the Eggs: Tap each egg on the counter and roll lightly to crack the shell. Peel under running water if needed.
  4. Prepare the Filling: Cut eggs in half lengthwise and scoop out yolks into a bowl. Mash with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and food coloring until smooth.
  5. Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe yolk mixture back into each egg white half.
