  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup mashed strawberries (fresh or thawed frozen)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter (or coconut oil), honey (or maple syrup), and mashed strawberries until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and spread the batter evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing into bars.
